John (Jay) Kippax Hutchings Jr., a dedicated CPA and successful real estate developer, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Falls River, Massachusetts, on November 11, 1948, Jay lived a full life centered around his career and his family.
He was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm, enjoying hobbies such as fishing, golf, and dancing. He was also known for his love of entertaining, bringing joy to those around him.
Jay is survived by his beloved wife, Vanda M. Hutchings. He will be deeply missed by his son, Todd J. Hutchings, his wife Laney, and their children Haley and Jake. He is also survived by his sister, Cherry White, her husband George, and their children Jenn and Nick, as well as his stepdaughter Julie Remke, her husband Paul, and their daughter Abigail.
There will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future.
