John Charles Page

John Charles Page passed away on October 31, 2020 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The son of Nancy Lee and John G. Page, he was born on December 30, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Virginia and East Carolina University in Greenville. Most of his working career was spent in the flooring industry in Wilmington, North Carolina.

He is survived by his parents, a sister Mary Elizabeth Dobbs and her husband Tim and a nephew Grant Christian Page, an aunt Nancy Jackson (Jerry) and an uncle Al Haase (Dr. Joanne Salerno) and aunt Carol Haase.

John loved children, music of all kinds, the beach, chocolate labs, and trying new recipes. He was a huge Cubs fan. John loved people and treated everyone the same regardless of race, gender or economic status. He was an example for all of us.

There will be a memorial service at Pine Valley United Methodist Church, 3788 Shipyard Boulevard in Wilmington on Thursday, November 12 at 2 P.M. in the Christian Life Center. All Covid19 state guidelines will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Pine Valley United Methodist Church at 3788 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28403.
