Johnny Redman Arnette

Johnny Arnette, 75, of Rocky Point died on August 20, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Mullins, SC, on January 17, 1946 to Wade and Peggy Arnette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Etta Gilchrist and his beloved wife Lucy Arnette and his faithful dog, Puddin. Johnny enjoyed his travels to Mexico, and trips to the North Carolina mountains during apple season. He also enjoyed fishing, fish fry's, cooking for family and friends and supervising tending to his garden. He is survived by, a brother, Tommy (Bettie) Arnette, son, John (Joy) Arnett, blended family, Lisa (Doug) Martin, Frank (Nicole) Rodriguez, Tony (Shelly) Rodriguez and many nieces, nephews and family members by blood and marriage. A visitation for Johnny will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412. A Funeral service will be immediately after visitation at 10:30am with Thom Avison officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Mausoleums.
