Joyce Evans Bockenhauer, 82, of Wilmington passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. She was born on August 20, 1932 to the late James and Katy Evans. Joyce is also preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Austin. Joyce is survived by her husband of 54 years, John; children, Kathy Perry (Jim) and John Bockenhauer, Jr. (Claire); grandchildren, Jennifer Perry, Jason Perry and Luke Bockenhauer; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Evans (Jean) and 3 nieces. She lived her life to the fullest. Joyce was loving, mischievous, out-spoken, a great cook and adventurous. As a military wife she and John traveled around the world. She was faithful and was always there if you were in need. A visitation will be held from 10-11am Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11am. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
