She was a lifelong member of Union Chapel Baptist Church in Lake Waccamaw, NC. She was truly loved and adored by many… the best wife, mama, and nana.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandchild Brandon Teachey, sister Shelby Sellers and brothers George, Buddy, J.D., Lewis, Willard and Bobby Sellers.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Jimmy Gray Teachey; two loving daughters Trish Davis (Hal) and Kathy Teachey all of Wilmington; grandchildren Kristin Davis, Noah Davis, Josh Murray, Elizabeth Murray and great-grandchildren Kenleigh Lineberry, Hudsyn Davis and Maverick Hamma.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington, NC with Pastor Terry Green officiating.
