Judy Nelson Pierce of Hampstead, NC, born March 19, 1951 in Morehead City, NC, passed October 27, 2011 after a long battle with psoriatic arthritis. Judy is survived by a daughter, Catherine Pierce Towle and husband Doug of Wilmington, NC, her mother, Marie Nelson of Wilmington, NC, and her sister Brenda Nelson Biermann and husband Fred of Hampstead, NC, two Grandchildren, Sydney and Caroline Towle, and a nephew, Thomas Biermann, II, of Greenville, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Nelson, Jr. of Hampstead. A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel. Family will receive friends at 2:00, service will follow at 3:00.
