Julius F Howard, 93, of Wilmington, NC, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 21, 2026, in his home. He loved his wife and family. Julius was the owner and pharmacist of Seashore Drugs in Wilmington and began Option Care of Wilmington, a home I.V. service. He served on the Board of Mutual Wholesale Drug Company. He loved sports, hunting, and fishing. Julius was a member of Gideon International for many years.
His faith was a foundation for how he provided for his family, treated people, operated his businesses, and served at church.
Julius was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby S Howard, his parents, David Alexander (Allie) and Mary Elza Sullivan Howard, and his 7 siblings.
Julius was married to Ruby for 63 years. He is survived by 3 sons, Thad (Betsy), Tim (Diane), and Steve (Cissie), and 5 grandchildren, Warren, Joshua, Kristian, Jesse, and Chris.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Pine Valley Methodist Church on Friday, August 7th, at 11:00 a.m. A reception with refreshments will follow.
