Kathy D. Peterson

She is is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Donnell Peterson and son in law, Mike Hicks.

Mrs. Peterson was a wonderful mother and wife who loved serving the lord and touched many hearts with her compassion and graceful smile. She had a willingness to open her arms to others in need and understanding.

She had an interest in nature and all of its beauty, a love for the outdoors and studying wildlife. She was a member along with her daughter, of the The Order of the Eastern Star, and served many years and involvement with the orginization.

Visitation will be held 12pm-1pm on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Dr. Wilmington NC. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1pm, with Rev. Bradley Walker officiating and tribute sung by Ronald Williamson.

Interment will follow at Greenlwan Memorial Park 1311 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington NC with Pall Bearers Eddie Thorpe, Tommy Hicks, Ronald Williamson, Stanley Hicks, Dustin Williamson, and Bryon Williamson.
