

Kevin Andrew Lentz peacefully passed away at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC on Saturday, March 24, 2018 of complications from pneumonia. Born in Wilmington, NC on March 21, 1978, and a graduate of New Hanover High School, he was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lentz and his brothers, Kenny and Michael Lentz.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Paula Lentz Corbett and step father Albert; his brother Robert Lentz of Wilmington, NC; step brother Dr. Andrew Corbett (Virginia), and their children, Luke,
Anna Grace, Ethan and Abigail of Richmond Hill, Ga.; a special aunt, Dr. Keleigh Howell (Chris) and their children, Skylar, Matthew, William and Jackson of Mt Laurel, NJ; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Despite his special needs, his gentle spirit and kind manner brought much joy to his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but most especially by his mother to whom he was known as “My Buddy”. Kevin was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and we all benefited from his unique insight and perspective.
A resident of Tabor City, NC and a member of the Loris, SC congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he was encouraged by his spiritual relationship with his Christian Brothers and Sisters.
Visitation will be at Andrews Mortuary on Sunday, March 25 from 4PM to 6PM.
A private service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or a charity of one’s choice.
