Linda Bagwell

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Thelma Bagwell, and her sisters, Florence Costin and Dorothy Tyson.

Linda was born in Wilmington, NC, on December 12, 1948. She attended New Hanover High School and was a member of the Class of 1968. She was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cape Fear Chapter No. 346. Linda was also a faithful member of Winter Park Baptist Church in Wilmington until health issues prevented her from attending. She faithfully served her church as a deacon for many years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the paws4people Foundation, Assistance Dog Placement Program, Wilmington, North Carolina.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, at Winter Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Linda will be remembered for her faithful service, her caring heart, and the love she shared with her family, friends, church, and community. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
