Lisa will be missed by so many. She touched people’s lives with her humor and compassion. She loved her family and friends deeply. One of her favorite things to do was to buy gifts for other people and help find necessities for those in need. Lisa loved to read and surrounded herself with beautiful artwork—much of it with spiritual themes. We know that she loved the Lord with her whole heart and she would often share her faith with others who were struggling. She adored her boys. While her eldest son, Bennett, is special needs with many challenges, youngest son, Brice, is bright, musical, athletic and creative. Lisa could talk endlessly about their achievements and her pride in them. Many wonderful memories have been made over the years at Kure Beach and will be forever treasured in our hearts. We know that Lisa is with her Lord and Savior and happy to be reunited with her mom, Sherry. The family wishes to thank you for your love and support at this time of our loss.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 2:00 at First Baptist Church, 411 Market Street, Wilmington, NC. The family will greet following the service. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, a College Fund for her youngest son, Brice, has been established in memory of his mom; the link listed below can be used by those wishing to gift to Brice’s college fund: http://backer.com/josephscollegefund236 .
