

She was born on August 31, 1970 in Syracuse, New York to Evelyn and Robert LaGoe.
Lisa was known for her kindness, light-hearted humor, youthful spirit, resilience, and her gleaming smile. She was of Christian religious faith. She graduated from Bishop Shanahan Catholic high school in West Chester, PA. Lisa was a student at Cape Fear Community College where she earned all A's in her classes while in pursuit of a career in medical office administration.
Lisa appreciated the small joys in life like a good deal at the grocery store on her favorite flavored yogurt tiramisu, the peace of sitting outside listening to Steely Dan enjoying a Lucky Red 100. The little things lit her up in a way that reminded everyone else to appreciate them. She also loved keeping her nails done and her jewelry clean, she felt it was important to put care into your appearance to reflect the sparkle you carry inside.
She is survived by her daughter Kaitlin LaGoe, her mother Evelyn LaGoe, and her brother Michael LaGoe, and remembered with love by her boyfriend John Taylor and her dog Dreamy. She was preceded in death by her father Robert LaGoe, her uncle Bobby Jackson, and her aunt Linda Murray.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service in Wilmington, NC on October 18th at 11am. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the service, where we will celebrate Lisa’s life by sharing memories with loved ones while watching a slideshow of her photos and videos set to her favorite songs
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
