Winston Salem—Lois “Elaine” Harrison, with roots in Winston-Salem and branches filled with fruit across the state, died Friday the 7th of July at New Hanover Regional Hospital. Born in 1927 in Winston Salem, NC, Elaine received her LPN nursing degree from Forsyth Tech in 1968 after a distinguished first career as a stay at home Mom.

Elaine had Jesus in her heart and could always be heard singing or humming with joy in the Methodist and Presbyterian choirs.
