Lois Jeanette Watson

Lois Jeanette Watson, age 83, of Belville, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She was born in Columbus County on October 16, 1941 to Vivion and Carrie Elderdice who both preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her husband: Franklin Watson, a brother: William Dale Elderdice.

She is survived by her children: Anita Gail Jernigan (Cliff), William Garrett, Kimberly Blake, Michael Watson(Janna), Debra Dean (Terry) and Frank Edward Watson (Muriel), several grandchildren and great grandchildren,a brother: Robert Elderdice and her sisters: Annell Dyckman, Debbie Pirozzolo(Dom), and Brenda White (Kenneth).

She had a giving heart, was a sweet soul, never met a stranger and loved by many. She always put everyone's needs above her own and always asked "Have you ate?" She had a very forgiving heart.

She worked at the Pantry for many years where she made many lifelong friends.

The family takes comfort knowing that she is now with her soulmate Frank (Bo) Watson and all the rest that she loved that have gone before her.

Her favorite past time was to have everyone over for dinner and lots of conversation. She enjoyed spending days with her cousins, fountain drinks (Extra Ice), and shopping at Belk. She always had a smile on her face.

The family will receive friends from 11a.m. until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC with a Funeral Service to follow at 12 pm with Pastor Larry Allen officiating.

The family would like to express thankfulness to: Linda Brown, Martha Robinson, Suzannah Creech and Rachel Corbett for always being there and showing her unconditional love.
