Lorraine M. Dorr Brown Hedda as she was known by friends and family of Wilmington, N.C. died Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Britthaven of North Chase. She was born December 1, 1910 in Lackawana, N.Y. the first daughter of the late John and Anna Dorr. Aside from her parents and sisters Norma and Mutsie she was preceded in death by her husband John N. Brown. Surviving are her three sons Tom Brown and wife Jackie of Wellsville, N.Y., Jerry Brown and wife Gloria, Tim Brown and wife Donna all residing in Wilmington, N.C. also eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 11am Monday, October 27, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 4849 Castle Hayne, N.C. by Rev. Ryszard Kolodziej. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 4pm Sunday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 4849 Castle Hayne Rd Wilmington, N.C.
