Lorraine Rich

Lorraine Quillen Rich, 78 of Wilmington passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her home. She was born on June 2, 1934 in Rehoboth Beach, DE to the late Harry and Emelia Quillen. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband Warren Wilson Rich. She is survived by her son, Dr. Warren M. Rich and wife Miriam of Hampstead, NC; daughter, Brenda Lorraine Rich Leeper and husband Michael of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Josiah, Elise, Micah, Stephen, Anna, Hope, Bradley, Alison, Casey and Rich; and Golden Retrievers, Bailey and Misty. Lorraine was an active member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. For many years she was a Bible Study Fellowship discussion leader. She was an avid golfer, bowler and sailor. She received a lot of satisfaction from maintaining her yard. She was a volunteer nurse with the Red Cross. But most of all Lorraine was a devoted grandmother and loved her family dearly. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Lorraine's name to Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church
