“Tony”

            Marco Antonio “Tony” Zarco, 50, of Wilmington, passed peacefully to his Lord after a valiant fight with cancer at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

            Tony was born February 25, 1966 in Tampico, Mexico, son of Maria Dolores Orobio-Mascoro and the late Antonio Zarco-Romero. A sister, Maria A. Zarco, preceded him in death.

            He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Mary Zarco; two step-daughters, Carla Judge (Thurman) and Karen Zarco (Mariano); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mariano Zarco (Karen) and Bonifacio Zarco (Jero); four sisters, Jimileva Zarco (Fidel), Camarina Zarco, Elisa Zarco (Jesus), and Maria Zarco (Pedro); sister-in-law, Evelyn Blair; brother-in-law, Danny Eury (Peggy); and several nieces and nephews.

            A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Friday, April 8, 2016, at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Leland, NC with Rev. Jack Edge officiating. The family will receive friends at the church before and after the service.
