Margaret Lea Clawson Eller

Margaret C. Eller, age 89, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on July 1, 2012. She was born in Richmond County on July 17, 1922 to the late Miles Hamilton Clawson and Mattie Perryman Clawson and was raised in Rowan County.

Margaret was a long time member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wilmington and Christiana Lutheran Church in Salisbury, NC. Ms. Eller was a loving mother, grandmother, and neighbor, who was a hospice volunteer.

She is preceded in death by husband, Conrad Hoyle Eller and ten brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two children, daughter Judy Walser (husband) William (Bill) Walser, and son Richard Eller (wife) Patricia Palma Eller; six grandchildren, Ed, Cindy, Tammy, Ric, Donyelle, and Rick; eighteen great-grandchildren, Dugan, Jude, Jack, Luke, Whitney, Shawn, Caleb, Steven, Saige, Katherine, Brian, Nic, Zoe, Sophia, Abigail, Zachary, Raechelle, Rebbekkah; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Zachary, Katherine, Zain, and Brewer.

There will be no funeral services at Ms. Eller’s request. Those wishing to remember her are asked to make a donation to the charity of their choice.
