Margaret "Peg" Hart

Margaret "Peg" Hart Margaret M. Hart, "Peg", 94, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Azalea Health & Rehabilitation Center. Peg was born November 28, 1919 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Dennis Touhey and Marie Hayes Touhey. Her husband, Clifford Arthur Hart, and two sisters, Irene Elliot and Alice Foley, preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Peg stayed true to her Catholic Faith and Irish Heritage. Peg enjoyed time socializing with friends and playing bridge. She enjoyed the many new friends she had made while staying at the Kempton @ Brightmore of Wilmington. She is survived by her son, Robert Hart and wife, Darlene, of Wilmington; daughter, Mary D. Hart of Oceanside, CA; three grandsons, Jamison Hart, Nikolas DeCeasar, and Christopher Hart, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wesley Hart and Agnes Hart, of Cary, NC; several nieces and nephews; and numerous loving friends, including, Ann Knopf, Shelvie O'Rourke, Jeanne deMontbrun and Frank and Nancy Reil. The family wishes to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. J. Payne for his care, professionalism and assistance during this time. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 9am Saturday, the 16th day, August 2014, at the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary with Rev. Bob Kus officiating. A Brief Irish Toast immediately following the Mass at the Harp Irish Restaurant, 1423 S 3rd St. Visitation and Celebration of Life following at the home of Robert & Darlene Hart.
