Marguerite Roberts Eason Marguerite Robert Eason, 83, of Wilmington, died Friday, September 5, 2014, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Marguerite was born July 2, 1931 in Franklin County, NC, daughter of the late Emmett E. Roberts and Irene Currin Roberts. Her husband, George Harris Eason, Jr., preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Eason was a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church and had retired from J.C. Penney after 25 years of service. She is survived by her three children, Daniel W. Eason, Martha Ann Eason, and Jennifer Irene Eason, all of Wilmington; granddaughter, Wendy and her husband, Mike; and a sister, Christine Roberts Long. A graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marguerite's memory may be made to Wrightsboro Baptist Church Building Fund, 2736 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington, NC 28401, or to the NHC Humane Society, 2405 North 23rd Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
