Martha Ann White Bridges

Martha White Bridges, 60, of Winnabow, NC passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born in Kyoto, Japan on October 25, 1951 to the late Clarence and Dorothy White.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Pine Valley Baptist Church. She loved being the Girl Scout Leader of Troop #1785. Gardening, shopping, cooking, and a devout Tarheel fan, all speak to her interests that made her great. Her outgoing personality made her a joy to be with.

Martha is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Terry Bridges; daughter, Becky Prevatte and husband Adam and daughter Addison; son Chris Bridges and wife Amanda; brother Ricky White and wife Barbara and daughters Sarah and Jennifer; father and mother-in-law Charles and Ruth Bridges; brothers-in-law Donnie and Gary; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins are also remembered.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 28, 2012 at 11:30am at Pine Valley Baptist Church, 3940 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28403.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church.
