Mary Annette Morgan McIntyre

Mary Annette Morgan McIntyre, 58, of Wilmington, died Friday, January 11, 2008, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after a six month courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Annette was born April 19, 1949 in Columbus, OH, daughter of the late John E. Morgan and Frances Curnutte Morgan-Grant. A 1971 graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and an avid fiction reader, gourmet cook and crossword puzzle fan, she loved babysitting grandson Bryan. Annette was a member of the Columbus Women’s Club 1971-1979, a member of the Pastor Nominating Committee and chairman of the Catering Committee at St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Raleigh NC, and co-moderator of Women’s Circle #7 and member of the Presbyterian Women and Discoverers Sunday School Class at Little Chapel on the Boardwalk Presbyterian Church, Wrightsville Beach. She also served three years as Secretary of the Masonboro Harbour Homeowners Association 2002 – 2005. Annette is survived by loving husband of 37 years Bryan F. McIntyre, son Brent, his wife Marykent and grandson Bryan Kenneth of Wilmington, NC, brother Daniel Morgan, his wife Judi and niece Carey of Flemington, NJ; brother James Morgan, his wife Lygia, niece Anastazia, nephews John Morgan and Robert Tischler of Mt. Sterling Ohio, brother-in-law Michael McIntyre, wife Beckey, nieces Claire and Colleen and nephew Sean McIntyre of Powell, Ohio and cousins Bill Morgan of Oxford, Ohio and David Morgan, wife Marcia and son Ned of Washington, DC. The family will receive friends from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S.College Road. A memorial service will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Little Chapel on the Boardwalk Presbyterian Church, Wrightsville Beach, with Rev. Todd Wright officiating.
