Mary Lou Bell went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was from Lexington, SC, and lived many years in Carolina Beach, NC, where she had many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James S. Bell, her mother and father; Levi and Julia Whittle, a brother; Robert Whittle, and a sister, Alice. Mary Lou is survived by a daughter; Michelle Bell Miller and husband Steve, her son; Michael S. Bell and wife Linda, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren and many, many beloved friends.
The family will receive friends 11:00am, Saturday, November 22, 2014, with funeral service at 12:00pm, both at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
