My sincere condolences to the whole family. I had the honor and pleasure of knowing and visiting this lovely lady who I called “Grandma”, like so many others that were- and were not of her blood. A witty and wise character, I enjoyed Walmart, Hwy77, and her favorite Hardee’s on several occasions while enjoying her hospitality-visiting her granddaughter, my best friend, Ashley Buffkin, who was detrimental to her well-being as she aged. I will always remember being silly around her to make her laugh. Falling off kid’s toys in the mall to her delight and her watching me shaking her head, as I did donuts in the parking lot with the handicap cart. I love you Grandma - and I know I will know you again when it is Jehovah's will. Until then, sleep well , dear lady.

Ms.Alma was a strong, wise, honest & lovely Lady inside & out. A no nonsense Lady. I always enjoyed talking with her about her beautiful garden & Camellias. She along with her generation will truly be missed. Thank you for sharing your love & wisdom with each of us Ms.Alma. RIP
