

Mary Louise Ronai Boynton, 86 of Wilmington passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at her home. She was born in Hempstead Long Island, NY on January 28, 1922 to the late Leslie Joseph Ronai and Mae Boettcher Ronai. Remembered are her husband James Webster Boynton, her brother Leslie A. Ronai, and her grandson Patrick Eugene Boynton who preceded her in death. Her Lord and Savior called Mary Louise Boynton home to Heaven after a lifetime of serving him. She would want to thank God for the joy and privilege of serving Him through her ministries with children. Mary Louise served in Yonkers, NY; Prince Edward Island, Canada; Morris, NY and most recently at Wilmington Bible Chapel; and The Brigade Boys and Girls Club where she was honored as Volunteer of the Year. She spent countless hours on careful research and beautiful illustrations to use in her teaching of God's love. Mary Louise considered her Bible lessons to children as her most important work and will be remembered fondly as ""The Cookie Lady"" for her homemade treats, given to the youth she taught. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She leaves behind her treasures, 7 children, George Boynton of Wilmington, Bob Boynton and wife Sharon of Wilmington, Linda Fitzpatrick and husband John of Oregon, Susan Boyle and husband Dan of Pennsylvania, Roger Boynton and wife Pat of NY, Dave Boynton of Wilmington and Andrew Boynton of Wilmington. 17 grandchildren, Michael Boynton, Matthew Boynton, Debbie Baral, Amy Murphy, Tim Fitzpatrick, Ruth Perkins, Serena Boyle, Bret Boyle, Heather Moore, Tabitha Boyle, Jedidiah Boyle, Faith Boyle, Daniel Boyle, Josh Stamas, Aaron Boynton, Zach Boynton and Latrica Rose Polise. 17 great grandchildren, Madolyn, Oliver, Isaac, Aaron, Hannah, Kayleen, Rebecca, Elisabeth, Tommy, Kaitlyn, Devon, Brendan, Luke, Jesse, Susanna, Andrew and Maya. A time of visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 Friday, November 7, 2008 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A celebration of life ceremony will be 11 am Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Wilmington Bible Chapel, 5026 Chester St., Wilmington. Burial will be at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
