Mary (Margaret) Coston Lehrschall

Mary "Margaret" Coston Lehrschall of Wilmington, NC passed away at the age of 93, on January 8, 2014. She was born in Maysville, NC on July 9, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Luther and Laura Coston. She was a member of Haws Run Primitive Baptist Church in Haws Run, NC. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Fred Lehrschall. Survivors include her three daughters, Beverly L. Padgett, Sharon L. Melton (Woody) and Diane L. Murray (Larry); eight grandchildren, Jesse Matthews (Pati), Laura M. Mott (Ron), James Mathews (Tracie), John Mathews, Jason Mathews (Kirstin), Dana L. Howell (Bill), Tina P. Castro (Edward) and Fred Padgett (Anna); nineteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Inez Thompson; brother, Joseph Edward Coston and many nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 9-10am, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10am. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery, with Pastor Arnold Padgett and Pastor Bill Howell officiating.
