Mary Dell Reeves

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Buddy Harris, Junious Harris, JT Harris and sisters: Evelyn Collins and Alma Lee.

Mary was a dedicated wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church for many, many years. Mary worked for Waters Shipping Company in Wilmington, North Carolina for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Eric C. Reeves, daughter Debra Collins and husband David of Wilmington, North Carolina; sons: Eddie Reynolds and wife Angela of Tabor City, North Carolina; Tony Reynolds of Wilmington and Eric “Ricky” Reeves and wife Tracy of Wilmington; seven grandchildren: Johnny Collins and wife Jennifer, Erica Kuneyl husband Donald, Rachel Harris and husband Josh, Meghan Juanarena and husband Brian, Leah Reynolds, Angie Erickson and husband Kris, Jessica Mestiza and husband Pedro; thirteen great-grandchildren Elayna Flores and husband Alex, Noah Harris, Thomas Juanarena, Gracie Juanarena , Bair Kuneyl, Fisher Kuneyl, Zain Erickson, Riggs Erickson, Milo Collins, Penelope Collins, Lillian LaQuay, Maisie LaQuay and Amelia Mestiza.

A visitation will be held from 10am-11am on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Whispering Pines Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Gourlay officiating. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Johnny Collins, Ethan Fowler, E.J. Fowler, Noah Harris, Tommy Harris and Josh Harris.
