Mary Jane Simmons, 89 of Grants Pass, OR, died September 16, 2011 at Applegate House in Grants Pass. She was born on January 31, 1922 in Donaldson, AR to the late Jim and Eula Hudson Blakely. She was a seamstress prior to retirement. She moved to Grants Pass in 2005 from Hampstead. Her interests included fishing and cooking. She is survived by a brother Bill and his wife Esther Blakely of Grants Pass, OR. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11 am at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
