In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Weldon Slade; son John Irvin Slade; and brother Woodus Pigott.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Carol Slade of Wilmington, NC; grandson Joseph Ryan Stanley and numerous cousins.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Coble Funeral Service Chapel at 1155 Shipyard Blvd. The family will receive friends at 12:30pm, prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens at 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
