Mary Ann Shepard Widerman

She was born in Wilmington, NC on August 16, 1939 to the late John R Shepard, Sr. and Ethel Mae Pickett Shepard. She is also preceded in death by her husband and soul mate of 37 years, James Albert Wilderman, Jr.

She enjoyed fellowship with her church, spending time with family and friends and shopping with her sisters. She was truly loved and will be missed by all that knew her. Heaven has gained a Angel.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Grisetti of Charleston, SC; sons: Mark Bergemann, James Widerman III and Damon Widerman all of Wilmington; 3 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, 1 great grandson, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Anchor Baptist Church, 300 Futch Creek Rd, Wilmington, NC 28411. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412.

Flowers are welcome but donations can be made to the Anchor Baptist Church Building fund.

The Widerman family would like to thank everyone that has contributed to the love and care for Mary Ann and the family these last 3 months.
