Melva Earle Pridgen, age 81, of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
She was born in Wilmington, NC on July 19, 1942 to Jesse Holton and Isabelle Toler Holton.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in death by her brother Paul Holton and sisters: Edith Devit and Evelyn Dixon.
Melva is survived by her husband Charles Pridgen; daughter Wendy Pridgen; son Charles “Chip” Pridgen II and wife Kiera; sister: Rose Cushing and husband Rodney and three grandchildren: Ella, Charlie and Oliver Pridgen.
A Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28412.
