Michael Jonathan Lentz

Michael Jonathan Lentz, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. He was born in Wilmington, NC on January 12, 1983. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lentz and his brother, Kenny Lentz. Michael is survived by his mother, Paula Lentz Corbett and step father Albert; his brothers Robert and Kevin Lentz of Wilmington; step brother Dr Andrew Corbett, his wife Virginia, and their children; Luke, Anna Grace, Ethan and Abigail of Richmond Hill, Ga.; A special aunt; Dr. Keleigh Howell (Chris) and their children, Skylar, Matthew, William and Jackson of Mt Laurel, NJ; and a most special friend; Jessica McKeithan of Raleigh, NC. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A 2001 graduate of Cape Fear Academy, Michael attended UNCG and was pursuing a degree in Computer Science at UNCW. He had an insatiable appetite for knowledge, was an avid reader and exceptional writer. A self-described "cynical pseudo-comedian", Michael was witty, highly articulate and had a flair for the dramatic. Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could make all of us laugh instantly! Michael will be greatly missed! A private service will be held on Monday, September 16.
