Born on July 14th, 1943, Michael graduated from North Catholic and spent over 40 years as a manufacturing engineer.
Michael was a beloved husband to Phyllis Wesolowski, with whom he shared over sixty years of love and companionship. He was a proud father to his daughter, Pamela Ann Wesolowski Van Schie, and her husband Paul Van Schie, of Elkton, Kentucky, and his son, Michael Wesolowski Jr., and his wife, Kathy Wesolowski, of Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael was a grandfather to Kira Mikititus, Thea Milam, Cheyanne Wesolowski, and Michael Wesolowski, and a great-grandfather to Briar Milam. He loved watching his grandchildren grow up, pursue their hobbies, and make their own way in the world.
Michael will be remembered for his love of debate, wisdom, sense of humor, and support for those closest to him. His stories from Taiwan always entertained his grandchildren. His love of gaming and fishing kept him curious and passionate well into retirement.
Michael leaves his family with memories of his adventures and mischief, lessons about using Excel for budgeting, and his immense love for his family. He is missed, and his absence is deeply felt.
"Those who love never truly leave us. They live on in the memories we hold and the love they gave."
Michael's family invites all who knew and loved him to remember him not with sadness, but with happiness for a full life well lived, and adventures he had, and the people he loved.
