Mildred Thomas Cole

Mildred Thomas Cole, 96, of Wilmington, NC passed away on June 6, 2015. She was born in Wilmington, NC to the late Arthur Holmes and Irene Chinnis Thomas. She is preceded in death by husband Robert W. Cole, Jr. of 52 years, one daughter Brenda Everett, and two brothers Arthur H Thomas, Jr and Cyril O. Thomas. Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Dittmer (Allen), sons Robert Cole III (Ana) and Eugene Cole, all of Wilmington. Ten grandchildren, Allen Dittmer (Cheryl), Robert Dittmer (Clara), Debra Ward (Vic), Paula Cottle (Wayne), Robert Everett, Jr., Robert Cole IV (Jillian), Christina Cole, Jeremy Martin, Michael Martin, Lauren Cole and six great-grandchildren, Cole Dittmer, Victoria Ward, Kyle Ward, Shane Cottle, Brittany Cottle, Joshua Cottle. Sisters Betty McCartney, Margaret Scott, Wanda Casavant and brother Lowell Thomas. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday June 10, 2015, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel with Pastor Wayne Cottle officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends June 10, 2015, from 1-2 p.m. at Andrews Mortuary.
