Mildred Virginia Davis West

Mildred Virginia West, 90, of Wilmington passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Britthaven of North Chase. Born in Chinquapin, NC on September 22, 1920, her parents were the late Guy G. and Mary Linda Williams Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Leon West in 1984. Millie is survived by her daughter, Virginia Krueger and husband, David, of Virginia Beach, VA; brothers, Don Davis of Rocky Point, NC, Bob Davis of Fayetteville, NC and Leon Davis of Jacksonville, NC; sisters, Louise Brinson of Wilmington, NC and Margaret Packard of Hillsborough, NC and Phyllis Hahn of Castle Hayne, NC; grandson, John Krueger; great-granddaughter, Abigal Krueger and grand daughter-in-law, Holly Krueger.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Wilmington National Cemetery.
