Murray Michael Henderson

Murray Michael Henderson of Wilmington, NC recently passed away at the age of 62. Born November 21, 1953 in Wilmington, NC, he was the son of the late Albert Lee Henderson and Lura Agnes Cavanaugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Jennifer Abbott. Surviving are his two brothers, Sherwood Shannon Abbott and wife, Pat, of Weddington, NC; and Danny Lee Henderson and wife, Sara, of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by his nephew, Justin Daniel Henderson, two nieces, Kelly Abbott Beck and Jocelyn Quinn Henderson; three great nephews, Noble, Asher and Sullivan, and great niece, August.

Michael loved restoring automobiles, driving fast cars, fishing, hunting and spending time in nature.

A memorial service will be held at Andrews Mortuary at the Market Street Chapel, 1617 Market Street in Wilmington, NC at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday April 12, 2016 followed by interment at Sea Lawn Cemetery in Hampstead, NC.
