Norma D. Graham

Mrs. Graham was born December 12, 1917 in Seattle, WA to the late John and Minnie Dishnow. She was the youngest of their four children and all preceded her in death.

She married Melvin E. Graham on April 11, 1942 and together they had three children. Mr. Graham preceded her in death in May, 1977. She is survived by their three children; a daughter, Linda Asher and husband Bill of Wilmington, NC; and sons, Larry Graham and wife Teresa of Temecula, CA, and Lee Graham of Colorado Springs, CO and wife, Linda, of Matthews, NC, and is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Graham moved to Wilmington in 2002 from Anacortes, WA. She was a resident of Hadden Hall Apartments until her illness and thoroughly enjoyed her years in Wilmington. She had many close friends at Hadden Hall.

She loved plants and could name them on sight; watching all the birds outside her apartment glassdoors; playing all sorts of card and board games...and winning! She was a wonderful, caring, thoughtful, warm lady who adored her family and her passing leaves a large void in our lives.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Silver Stream for their care and thoughtfulness in the last month of mom's life. Their support of mom and of her family makes us truly thankful.

Private services will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
