Pamela Wilson Allen

She was born in South Hill, VA on November 17, 1949 the daughter of the late Charles Lindberg Wilson and Mildred Adams Wilson.

She graduated from Norlina High School where she was a cheerleader and homecoming Queen.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John Q. Allen; daughter, Heather Renee Allen of Wilmington, NC; sister, Wanda Clary and husband Carson of Norlina, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, traveling, the beach, and attending UNCW athletic events where she met many new friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Dr. McNulty and his staff at Cape Fear Cancer Specialists, the loving care provided by the staff of Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove, and many friends and family who visited her in her final days.
