Patricia Batts Mobley

She was born on December 6, 1945, in Duplin County, NC, the daughter of the late Wayne Lee Batts and Rosavel Carter Batts. Also remembered is her husband, James Allen Mobley, Son in Law Gary Cavenaugh and Thirteen brothers and sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.

Surviving is her daughter, Denise Cavenaugh; her son, James Anthony Mobley (Roey); Grandson’s Austin Cavenaugh (Courtney) and Jack T. Mobley; as well as Great Grandson Cooper Cavenaugh, brother, Royce Wayne Batts (Brenda); sister, Carolyn Price (John); and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Shortly after graduation from high school she married the love of her life Allen and began her working career in many facets of their businesses in Wallace, NC.  In 1982 she moved to Topsail Island and in 1986 established Holly Ridge Mini Storage along with many other business ventures with her husband.   Pat greatly enjoyed Sunday dinners with her Children, Yard Saling with brother Royce and spending time with her four-legged companion Beau Cat.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 10, 2024, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:15 am. A burial will immediately follow the service in Sea Lawn Memorial Park.
