Patricia Morrison

Patricia Padgett Poplin Morrison, 81, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Liberty Commons. She was born March 23, 1932, in Raleigh, NC, to the late Thomas William Poplin and Olene Padgett Poplin. Patricia was a long time member of First Christian Church. She worked several years as a switchboard operator for BB&T and was active with St. John's Art Museum. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Robert Morrison; son, Thomas Robert Morrison and wife Cindy; daughter, Winifred Morrison Bone and husband Larry; grandchildren, Amanda Shepard Morrison, Timothy Christopher Neal and Andrew Morrison Neal; sister, Elizabeth Poplin Stanfield and nephews, Dr. C. Freeman Stanfield and William Thomas Stanfield III. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm, Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, April 19, 2013, at First Christian Church, 2035 Oleander Dr., Wilmington, NC 28403, with Pastor Jason Doran officiating.
