Patricia A. Ward

Patricia A. Ward Patricia Ann Ward, 65, of Burgaw, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Pat was born April 13, 1947 in Liberty, NY, daughter of the late Russell William Stewart and Mabel Houghtaling Stewart. Her husband, William L. Ward, preceded her in death. Mrs. Ward is a retired school bus driver from the Liberty, NY school system. She was kind and had a good heart. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her son, William R. Ward; daughter, Tricia Storms Douglas; two grandchildren, Tyler and Breanna Storms, all of Burgaw, NC; brother, Robert Norman Stewart Terene of Denver, CO; best friend and companion, Alfred Sorge of Burgaw, NC; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Andrews Market Street Chapel with Rev. Tim Hutto officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, at the funeral home, from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pat's name may be made online or by mail to the Susan G.
