Patricia Ann Wilson

Patricia Ann Wilson, 80, of Wilmington, NC, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Brunswick Cove Living Center. She was born on August 18, 1932, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late William Roy Parham and Lucille Herring Husky Parham. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Paul Jones and J.R. Wilson. Patricia was first and foremost a loving mother. She spent her married life working as a waitress at the Chateau Louise Restaurant in Elgin, IL and then in retirement volunteered her time assisting shut-ins for over ten years before becoming ill herself. She was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church involving herself in many church functions and was also an avid reader. Surviving are three children, John Paul Jones, Jr. and wife Sharon of Holly Springs, NC, Donna Lee Barba and husband Larry of Elgin, IL, and George William ""Bill"" Jones of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren, Jackie Sanchez, Jamie Ericson, Jessica Barba, Jenna Barba, Joey Barba, Ryanne Casey and Jason Randall Jones; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Natalie and Alana Sanchez; and a brother, Daniel Roy Parham of Wilmington, NC. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Drive, Wilmington, 910-763-4078. The Rev. Melvin Hall will officiate. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
