Patsy "Pat" Wilson Dennis

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Kathryn, and by her daughter, Christi Dennis. Pat is survived by her son: Charles (Rick) and his wife, Annette, of Raleigh, NC.

Pat was proud of her classic Southern cooking – from squash casserole and butter beans to coconut pie, she loved to cook and serve others.

Pat will be remembered as a lifelong Westminster Presbyterian church member and singer in the choir, as a teacher’s assistant at Blair School, as a gardener, and as a CNA. She enjoyed helping others. She never sat still and was always on the move – ‘pedal to the metal.’ She was also dearly fond of yard sales and estate sales, filling her meticulously cleaned home with ‘treasure.’

Pat grew up and lived most of her life in Wilmington, the only child of the parents she adored: Charles and Kathryn Wilson. She felt blessed to have been raised by loving parents, by Aunts Bea and Rae, and grandmother “Mammie.”

The family would like to thank the staff at Cadence Memory Care and Kindred Hospice for their care.

The funeral is Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel. Visitation is at 10:00AM, the funeral service is at 11:00AM, and the graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 12:30PM.
