"Drew" found his happy place in the outdoors. He enjoyed bike rides to the beach, long walks with his wife, transforming blank spaces into beautiful landscaped gardens. He was an avid animal lover, whether the animal was a pet ot part of the wild kingdom of deer, foxes, racoons and birds. Drew loved a good joke and was known for making up some fantastic jokes of his own.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Kathleen (McCann) Slobodian, brother Alan Slobodian and wife Dorothy, sister Karla White and husband Danny, sister Judy Shaffer and husband Phil.
Although not blessed with children of his own, he took great pride and Joy in his nieces and nephews: Spencer, Katie, Julie, Tera, Kate, Matt, Bridget, Sarah, Brenden and Erin.
In memory of Drew, take along with a loved one, plant a tree or flowers in that empty space in your yard, keep a bird feeder filled with seeds, adopt a pet or support and animal shelter.
Tonight, when you have that glass of wine or shot of bourbon, raise your glass high for one final "Cheers Drew."
