

Peggy Perkins, 77 of Wilmington, died unexpectantly at home Saturday July 2nd. Peggy was born Febuary 17, 1934 in Wilmington, daughter of the late William and Linnie Grissom. A devoted wife and loving mother, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, Cecil Perkins and children Gail Willis and husand Dana of Oak Island, Cecil Perkins, Jr. and wife Carol of Leland, and Susan Stover and husband Brian of Burgaw. She is also survived by a brother, Bill Grissom of SC, a sister, Edie Strickland of GA, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Peggy dedicated her life to Jehovah in 1953 and has been a zealous servant since. A member of the Sunset Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 50 years she will be remembered for her deep love of Jehovah and her desire to share that love with others. A considerate loving sister, a loyal friend to all - she will be missed. Visitation will be Tuesday July 5th at the home of Cecil Perkins, 101 Sunnnyvale Drive, Wilmington between 4:00-6:30 p.m. Memorial Service to be held Wednesday July 6th, 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Park Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 16th Street Wilmington.
