Remembering my Uncle Pete taking Janet and Patti (I believe) and I crabbing at the "sound" having him put the sinker on for me and then saying whoever caught the first crab ... gets a quarter. I was the first one that day. And remembering how the crabs cried when Aunt Shine cooked the crabs in the pot of boiling water. I'm guessing that this was in 1964 or 1965 when I was 7 or 8. I also remember being at their house and there was a powerful thunderstorm, since there was no basement, I literally felt the earth rumble beneath my feet. Also, remembering all the visits over the years for weddings and other occasions. Good memories, great times, great people. Rest in Peace Uncle Pete and give a hug to my dad, my Aunts Evelyn, Mary, Kate and Anna and my Uncle Nicholas, my grandparents Catherine and Peter, your wife of course and other relatives that passed before you. I love you and will miss you.
