Ray Daniel Chambers

Ray Daniel Chambers, 95, of Delco, went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2016. He was the husband of the late Annie Elizabeth Chambers and the father of the late Daniel Ellis Chambers. Born in Sparta, NC on March 29, 1921, he was a son of the late Ellis Chambers, Vella Rutherford Chambers Jordan and Morris Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Lovie Money, Robert Jordan, William Jordan, Phillip Jordan, Leff Chambers, Harrison Jordan, Wade Jordan, Clint Jordan and Grant Jordan.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Peterson, Eva Carroll (Eugene), Esty Bullard (Carlos), his brother, James Jordan (Linda), his granddaughter, Shannon Chambers and his many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2:00pm at Peterson Ellis Cemetery, Byrdville, NC officiated by his nephew, Rev. Jerome Bullard.
