Richard Seay Carbonaro 8/14/38-10/26/26. Beloved husband to Barbara Carbonaro for 63 years; proud Dad of Christina Leonard (Richard Leonard), Patricia Carbonaro, Donna Brower (Bugsy Brower), and Peter Carbonaro (Angela Carbonaro); cherished Pop-Pop to Allison, Ryan, Brandon, Jillian, Gabriella, Devin, Liam, Madison, Trevor, Nathaniel and Christian.

Our hearts are broken as we said goodbye to our own personal legend today. He was a husband, Dad, Father-in-Law, and Pop-Pop to us. Known to others as Uncle Dick, Dickie C, Mr. Silly C, Carbo, Mayor of the Block, the Admiral, to name a few. If you were lucky enough to know him, you knew he had the gift of gab and was a great storyteller, but also knew he would go to the ends of the earth to help you or anyone else, including a stranger. A very proud Navy Vet and fierce patriot who loved his Country deeply, gardener, nature lover, and life of the party. Perhaps his greatest attribute was his ability to live every day to the fullest. A true kid at heart who always took note of the small things this world has to offer. Fly high with the angels Peter Pan. You left a lasting impression on all who met you, and an indelible legacy that will live on in all of us. We love you. ♥️

We will have a Celebration of life in December in NC.
