Dear family and coworkers of Mr. Massengill,
My prayers for him, your family and his team. A wonderful man on so many levels. I had the pleasure to meet with him related to work, fast becoming to a friend level conversing about so many items (work, family, religion). Along with sharing or comparing memories, values and opinions. He educated me on Wilmington and the South ways. Honest, sincere and a joy to connect with. His love of his wife and children so visible. I was honored when he told me I could call him Robert and yet he was always Mr. Massengill. Prayers and blessing for him and all of you. A great man to be missed.

Bro. Massengill was a kind hearted man of God. His love for God and people was so evident. I will always remember his encouraging words and piano playing before church. He will be greatly missed. We are praying for each of the family. Our hope is in Jesus and that assures us that we will meet again one day.

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Massengill's passing! He always sat behind us at PVCOG. He was always the sweetest most kind hearted man ever! He would always have a conversation with my great nephew Jaxson before church. Praying for strength in the coming days!
