Robert Walker Jr.

Robert Henry Walker Jr., age 68 of Wilmington, died Friday, June 9, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born April 10, 1949 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Robert Henry Walker Sr. and Edna Barritt Walker who preceded him in death.

Mr. Walker was retired from General Electric, where he had worked as a x-ray technician in the aircraft division. He was an avid fisherman and Dallas Cowboy's fan.

He is survived by his wife Lois Walker; sons Robert Henry “Trey” Walker III and wife Mary Ellen of Leland and David Bracey and wife Ashley of Hampstead; daughters Debbie Somersett and husband Hugh of Rocky Point and Tina Kutter and husband Neal of Wilmington; sister Ruth Bomhan of Wilmington; grandchildren Payten Bracey, Mikayla Diaz-Langan, Alex Kutter and Rachel Kutter; and nephew Kenneth Bomhan and wife Adele of Wilmington.

A visitation will be held between 6:00pm and 8:00pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Services.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Services with Pastor Rob Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
